Software for Integrated System in Hospital - SISH

SISH(Software for Integrated Services in Hospital) is a software aimed to provide computerized patient care services. It is developed by a group of medical and marketing professionals. With SISH, all departments of a hospital can work in as integrated way.

SISH is only system of its kind available inNepalwhich is truly a Hospital Information System (HIS). It reduces practice errors of physician, pharmacist and other department staffs. Major Medical Benefits of SISH

Pharmacy Dispensing

• Patient profile (age, weight, height) as well as liver, kidney condition, pregnancy, drug allergy, diagnosis recorded.
• Medicine recording include route of admin, med name (both brand name and generic name), unit dose, frequency, duration, quantity.
• While punching medicine, medicine can be sorted by either brand name or generic name. Usual dose and usual frequency is displayed by default.  The system can check errors and print error report for following problems:-
• Medical Calculators are available to assist dose calculation while dispensing
• To assist in dispensing following drug database are provided.

Laboratory

Laboratory test orders can be given online from impatient wards. Laboratory test values can be entered in metric or SI unit. While punching lab values in system, the abnormal values are highlighted by red color. On viewing lab report, the ordered test, sampled tests, reported tests with normal values, reported tests with abnormal values are displayed in different colors.

Reported Parameters can be printed for one test or all ordered tests of the patient. The reported parameters of lab reports are:-

• Observed value of test (metric or SI unit)
• Min. and max. value of test (metric or SI unit)
• Sensitivity, specificity of test
• Corrected value of the test (based on other conditions)
• Drugs of the patient which may cause abnormal value
• Conditions of the patient which may cause abnormal values.
• Test sample and method of test

Clinic

• Pharmacy and diagnostic test can be ordered directly from clinic or wards.
• All clinical findings, vitals procedures and planning can be entered into system.
• Physicians can view and analyze critical reports from laboratory, pharmacy and clinic ward to produce appropriate recommendations.
